Description
We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator in the Medical industry located in Raynham, Massachusetts, United States. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing patient communications, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Engage in high volume outbound and inbound calls, aiming to schedule appointments and follow-up on patient care.
• Utilize EHR System to update patient hearing test results and other medical information.
• Ensure efficient management of patient schedules through effective calendar management.
• Perform receptionist duties, including photocopying and scanning documents, shredding paper records, and other administrative tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service, including conflict resolution, to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Utilize HealthCare.gov and other relevant platforms to manage insurance-related matters.
• Maintain a professional phone etiquette, ensuring clear and respectful communication with patients.
• Multitask effectively to manage various administrative tasks and patient interactions simultaneously.
• Stay open to learning new technology and systems related to patient care and administrative tasks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
• Proficient in using EHR SYSTEM for maintaining patient records
• Knowledge of insurance procedures and policies
• Prior experience in receptionist duties such as handling inbound and outbound calls
• Strong administrative skills including photocopying, scanning documents and shredding
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patient care
• Experience in scheduling appointments
• Ability to maintain professional phone etiquette at all times.
