The role

As the Benefits Analyst you will handle a range of duties related to the benefits for EMEA and APJ. This role is critical in ensuring that the company's benefits programs are effectively administered and aligned with local regulations and the organization's objectives.

Based in Reading you will oversee benefits administration across multiple countries within EMEA and APJ regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs across the EMEA and APJ regions. This includes health insurance, retirement plans and other employee voluntary programs.

  • Administer paperwork with the local government to ensure employer notifications are up to date in government portals.

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing and sustainable processes to enhance the employee and administrative experience.

  • Coordinate benefits for international assignees or expatriates, ensuring seamless transitions between countries.

  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and laws governing benefits programs in each country within EMEA and APJ regions to recommend improvements or changes.

  • Conduct audits of benefits packages and policies to ensure the company’s processes are compliant

  • Analyze plan data to identify trends, track performance and make recommendations for plan improvements.

  • Performs benefit plan audits monthly and implement plan changes as necessary.

  • Generate reports on benefits utilization, costs, and other relevant metrics for management review.

  • Assist in monitoring benefits program expenses to ensure they stay within budget.

  • Assist with internal and external audits.

  • Work with external vendors, including third-party administrators and insurance providers, to support benefit plans.

  • Engage with Finance teams to set up purchase orders and ensure processes are aligned with company policy.

  • Inform Payroll each month of any pension and benefit-related changes.

  • First point of contact to ensure employees have a positive experience in reference to the various benefits programs.

  • Work collaboratively with the appropriate team members to address complex cases to find a resolution for employee related issues and/or concerns.

  • Communicate benefits information to employees, including enrollment periods, changes to benefits, and educational materials.

  • Work with external vendors, including third-party administrators and insurance providers to support benefit plans.

What you bring to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.

  • Experience in global benefits in an international environment, supporting both EMEA and APJ.

  • Familiarity with EMEA and APJ benefits regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information discreetly while supporting employees.

  • Attention to detail, methodical, organised with a high level of accuracy and the ability to identify inconsistencies in data.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and other departments in EMEA, APJ and the US

  • Demonstrates the ability for responsiveness and a sense of urgency when helping our employees.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate to all employees accurately and professionally across diverse teams and cultures.

  • Proactive and skilled at managing evolving tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Word, PPT etc.), and Workday skills.
