Need 6 full time, temporary, seasonal Construction Laborers to work at locations in Marshall, Pennington, and Roseau Counties in Minnesota. From 05/04/2025 - 12/20/2025 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience and/or merit. All hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 08/28/2025 JOB DESCRIPTION: On farms, help lead workers install, maintain and repair grain bins for farmers. Majority of the work will be on existing grain bin sites to repair, maintain or replace older bins. Under the direction of a supervisor, workers will assemble prefabricated grain bin parts. They will work with a teammate to install replacement parts including fans, augers and belts. They will insert bolts, washers, and nuts to shore-up bin walls. Caulking is applied to seams and lifting is required to put bin walls in place. An electric wrench is then used to tighten the bolts. May assist with the manual labor of installing or repairing grain concrete bin floors. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yds. JOB REQUIREMENTS: No experience required, employer will train. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. for 75 yds. Able to perform work that requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping or bending over, and repetitive movements. Must have 3 months of grain bin maintenance/repair experience. No minimum education required. Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
