ICONMA, LLC Project Manager III in Remote, Connecticut
We are looking for someone who is well-versed at providing specialized TEM (Telecom Expense Management) guidance and support, focused on IMACD (install, move, add, change and disconnect) services, motivated to implement policies, processes and initiatives that meet client’s overarching business management, strategy and governance objectives.
Working within the eTEM (Enterprise Telecom Expense Management) group, the candidate will be required to participate in a large platform deployment effort for the Retail line of business by managing and monitoring Telco out-orders (disconnections) of legacy platform lines and invoice reconciliation of these efforts. Some assistance for new order activity will also be required.
Candidate will be required to use the TEM tool to place, track and manage order activity as well as mitigate and rectify any order delivery and invoicing issues with the Telcos.
Candidate will then be required to report order activity status on a weekly basis, as well as present mitigation suggestions for any order issues. In this role, candidate may also provide complex reporting, analysis and assessments.
There are approximately 900 remaining Verizon East analog lines that are no longer needed or could move to Fiber. TEM analyst will assess the opportunity for expense reduction by eliminating / aggregating these lines. Windstream and Frontier are significantly increasing rates for copper lines. TEM analyst will assess the aggregate impact from the rate increases and asses migrating to Granite where it makes sense. TEM analyst will also review AMCB entire legacy voice inventory to clean it up.
Identify issues and opportunities, understand trends and provide advice to TEM management and respective teams while raising industry, external and internal, enterprise and business awareness.
Provide subject matter expertise in the area of TEM provisioning.
Provide TEM Analyst functions in support of client's VoIP Conversion initiative, covering the full scope of TEM related services including investigation, inventory and billing analysis, reporting, circuit provisioning / termination activities, number porting activities, and post conversion reconciliation activities.
Understand and adhere to client TEM processes and key controls to manage the ongoing provisioning of telecom orders, disconnects and changes
Provide reporting, analysis, and assessments. Adhere to internal policies / procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines, contribute to the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.
Identify variances and contribute to the analysis, due diligence and implementation of initiatives and/or business operations within defined area of responsibility.
Support development and/or/ implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and solutions that mitigate risk and maximize availability of service, efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure TEM inventory is accurate and complete
Understand and adhere to data governance requirements in order to maintain/enhance inventory value and integrity
Establish positive and productive working relationships with telecom vendors
Collaborate with TEM team members in identifying provisioning/inventory anomalies to ensure process gaps and root cause are identified and mitigated
Telecomm Expense Management Experience 5yrs
Telecommunication vendor and reporting experience 5yrs
(in progressive TEM/Telecom related roles with a proven track record with a concentration on working SIP VOIP technology is preferred)
Project management and Methodology (Confidence and ability to independently lead projects end-to-end (primarily non-routine, escalated, and specialized or complex issues), generally within short- to medium- term horizons (weekly to monthly) 5yrs
- Working knowledge of internal process related to Move, Add, Change process associated with legacy voice, VoIP and data infrastructure 5yrs
- Telecom order experience with infrastructure circuit orders, ordering systems, PO generation and follow up co-ordination
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visio
Experience with Client and VoIP technologies, and conversion related experience preferred
Nice to Have: Auditing invoicing
Experience with Rivermine (or other TEM software) and vendor portals
Previous vendor management experience
Previous project leadership/management
