Current Vacancy Key Account Manager - Environmental Research - Germany (Remote )

Are you driven and experienced Key Account Manager and ready to make a difference in Environmental Research ? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team to support us by managing and growing our existing environmental research client base in Germany. The role is remote, and the candidate will be expected to travel up to 20% of the time. Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing environmental research clients.

  • Understand their unique needs, goals, and challenges related to environmental research initiatives.

  • Serve as the main liaison for clients, ensuring their satisfaction, addressing concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Identify new opportunities and prospective clients within the environmental research sector.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the client base and increase revenue.

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective business development strategies.

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, developments, and regulations in environmental research and sustainability.

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of environmental issues and their implications for clients.

  • Track and analyse key performance metrics for client accounts, assessing opportunity success and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Provide regular reports on technical and manufacturing information to the Production team, where necessary for the completion of orders, including non-standard products and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research scientists, data analysts, and technical experts.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential competitors, and new market/product opportunities within the environmental research industry.

    Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or relevant role in the environmental research industry.

  • Excellent client management and communication skills.

  • Strong business development skills with a track record of success.

  • In-depth knowledge of environmental issues and their implications for clients.

  • Ability to analyse and interpret technical data.

  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. ​
