The Senior Marketing Leader is responsible for leading our Software as a Service marketing team into the future, with full management of the Marketing department and acting as an active member of the commercial leadership team. This is an active role to support growth initiatives and enable execution of business strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating and executing marketing plans that align with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Direct management of marketing team across product marketing, demand generation, field marketing and marketing operations for the SaaS business. Lead the team of marketing professionals, including managers, specialists, and coordinators. This involves setting performance expectations, providing guidance and support, and fostering a positive work environment.

  • Establishment and ongoing management of the Marketing department plan, strategy and budget as part of bigger BU Op Rhythm. This includes allocating resources to various marketing initiatives, tracking spending, and ensuring that the budget is used effectively.

  • Establish a competitive intelligence strategy, and then manage thus strategy to support cross functional teams (Product, Regional and CT Specific). This includes analyzing market and industry trends.

  • Develop standard work to manage marketing KPIs, linked to growth of our business and demand generation.

  • Partner with product management and commercial team to develop a product marketing strategy by product line, with value propositions, calculators and battlecards.

  • Work closely with product management to establish product marketing standard work.

  • Field Marketing management ensuring robust regional strategy and execution of digital campaigns, events, and tailored omni-channel campaigns aligned with the various GTM strategies

  • Brand management through social media channels and content creation

  • Agency Management - this role has to manage relationships at the strategic and working levels with several 3rd party agencies.

  • Web management - SEO, SEM, meta-data, analytics all around/about the web

  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.

  • Leads others to find creative solutions to address complex projects, products, markets, sales processes, or customers. Has the ability to evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis. Uses multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • Deep understanding of the Aerospace marketing, and ideally experience in Software and/or Digital in particular.

  • Experience with the commercialization and market assessments of software companies.

  • Experience with Marketing technology and tools, including SFDC, LinkedIn, Pardot, On 24 etc.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

The base pay range for this position is $160,800 to $268,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on June 28th, 2024.
