We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a Product Owner. In this dual role, you will be responsible for leading the product development process from concept to delivery as the Product Owner, while also facilitating the agile development methodology.
Here's how
Product Vision and Strategy:
Work with Product Management to understand and communicate the product vision, strategy, and goals to the development team and stakeholders.
Continuously refine and evolve the product vision with Product Management based on market trends, customer feedback, and business objectives.
Product Backlog Management:
Create and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the most valuable features and user stories.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, refine user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
Break down epics into smaller, actionable user stories that can be delivered within a single sprint.
Scope Management:
Manage project scope effectively, balancing stakeholder expectations, resource constraints, and project objectives.
Define and enforce scope boundaries, ensuring that changes are properly evaluated, approved, and incorporated into project plans as needed.
Release Planning:
Participate in release planning meetings to help the team establish a release schedule and scope.
Determine the priority of features and user stories for each release based on business value and dependencies.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary liaison between the development team, Product team and stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of project progress and changes.
Solicit feedback from stakeholders to validate product assumptions and ensure alignment with their needs.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the development team to clarify requirements, provide feedback on deliverables, and ensure alignment with the product vision.
Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to provide input and make decisions regarding the product backlog.
Remove impediments and obstacles that hinder the team's progress, escalating issues when necessary.
Coach team members on agile principles and best practices to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to scrum processes and ceremonies, while also adapting practices to suit the team's needs.
Foster collaboration and communication within the team and with external stakeholders to promote transparency and alignment.
Track and report key agile metrics such as sprint velocity, burn-down charts, and team performance.
Quality Assurance:
Work with the development team to define acceptance criteria for user stories and verify that deliverables meet these criteria before acceptance.
Ensure the product meets quality standards and regulatory requirements through continuous testing and validation.
Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iteratively improve the product.
UX/UI Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to co-create design requirements, wireframes, and prototypes that meet user needs and align with the product vision.
Participate in design workshops and brainstorming sessions to explore innovative design solutions and enhance user satisfaction.
Conduct detailed design reviews with the development team to ensure alignment with product requirements, usability standards, and best practices.
Provide feedback and guidance on design iterations to optimize user experience and interface aesthetics.
Demo Script Creation:
Work with the Product Managers to create demo scripts and scenarios for showcasing product features and functionality.
Ensure demo scripts effectively communicate the value proposition of the product and highlight key benefits to stakeholders and end-users.
You're the missing piece of the puzzle
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a strong understanding of product management principles and practices.
Demonstrated experience with agricultural software systems and technologies required
Certification as a Scrum Master (e.g., CSM, PSM) with practical experience leading agile teams is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Within that range, individual pay is determined by work location and a variety of factors, which may include but are not limited, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held.
