Texada Software Product Manager (Software) in Remote, Ontario

Position Overview

You would join our team as a Product Manager and define the future of Texada products by understanding the needs of our customers, and working with our development teams to meet those needs with technology. We are seeking someone who enjoys thinking about the people who will be using our products. They seek to understand use cases, and build things that will feel familiar and easy to use, even in a complex business environment. You will be working on the service enablement tools for the heavy equipment industry such as work order management, parts and service quoting, and service delivery tracking tools.

The Texada development team is a diverse group of individuals working together to build amazing new products and services for our customers.

Work location

This position is remote/hybrid. Our home office is located in Mississauga, ON. Although there are no regular office days, you may be required to attend occasional meetings in person.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders and end users to gain an understanding of the user and buyer needs and aspirations

  • Research how companies and users use Texada products, and develop a vision for the future of your product

  • Prioritize feature requests to build the product roadmap to achieve business and product goals

  • Define the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy for your product

  • Work with UX on use cases and designs for end user feedback

  • Be the voice of the customer in product/development discussions

  • Provide clarification on expected functionality, and triage reported bugs before they get escalated to development.

  • Look for market opportunities that Texada should move towards

  • Lead or participate in other assigned projects

What we hope to find in your background

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience

  • Nice to have if it is in the B2B space

  • Experience working on a work order or service delivery tool

  • Experience engaging with customers of software in a product management, customer success, services, support, or other roles

  • Experience with the rental, heavy equipment, or the construction industry is a plus

  • Ability to influence people cross-functionally

  • You think automation is important – and seek out processes, systems and tools that enable better decision making with minimal re-work
