Job Purpose Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual for the role of Demand Planning Operations Lead with an entrepreneurial spirit who excels in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment to join our team. As an integral part of our global supply chain management team, you will serve as a key enabler for enhancing our demand planning processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of demand forecasting methodologies, data analysis, and market trends, coupled with exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with domestic and international cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting. Your responsibilities will encompass developing and maintaining robust forecasting models, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing strategies to mitigate potential risks. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of successfully managing demand planning functions in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.

What you will do

Demand Forecasting Support:

• Assist in developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts based on historical data and market insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for demand forecasting.

• Support the evaluation of forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.

• Develop strategies to improve forecast accuracy.

S&OP Process Coordination:

• Assist in collecting and analyzing data related to sales, production, and inventory levels to support the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between demand and supply plans.

• Coordinate and facilitate S&OP meetings, ensuring alignment between demand and supply plans.

Document meeting outcomes and assist in implementing action plans to address any discrepancies.

• Document the S&OP process, including standard operating procedures, key performance indicators (KPIs), and decision-making frameworks. Identify areas for improvement in the S&OP process and work towards enhancing its effectiveness and efficiency.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather information and align on demand planning strategies.

• Communicate demand plans, changes, and insights effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.

• Monitor and report on the performance of the S&OP process, highlighting key insights and recommendations for improvement.

Risk Management Support:

• Assist in identifying potential risks to the supply chain and support the development of strategies to mitigate these risks.

  • Document the S&OP process, including standard operating procedures, key performance indicators (KPIs), and decision-making frameworks. Identify areas for improvement in the S&OP process and work towards enhancing its effectiveness and efficiency.

What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7 years’ experience in supply chain management, global supply chain, demand planning, supply planning, S&OP leader, or related field.

  • Understanding of demand planning principles and processes.

  • Global Perspective: Understanding of global supply chain dynamics and the ability to navigate diverse regional requirements and regulations.

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

  • Experience with ERP applications and data visualization tools.

  • Knowledge of lean or six-sigma frameworks preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines concurrently.

  • High level of integrity and ethical conduct.

  • Application knowledge in Dynamics 365 and Infor CSI preferred will be a big plus.

  • Licenses/certifications (all considered to be a plus for the role):

  • Professional certificates in data science or analytics.

  • Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing; and

  • CPSM, CPIM, and/or PMP.
