Job Title: General Laborer - Swing/Graveyard
Job Description
We are seeking dedicated General Laborers for our Cold Finish operations. The role primarily involves using grinders to grind down parts, ensuring there are no cracks in the metal. This includes Inspection Grinding, Finish Grinding, Spot Grinding, and All Over Grinding. The position requires standing up and wearing a respirator throughout the shift. Additionally, you will perform various General Labor activities as needed, beyond the Grinder tasks.
Responsibilities
Use grinders for Inspection Grinding, Finish Grinding, Spot Grinding, and All Over Grinding
Ensure metal parts are free of cracks
Stand and wear a respirator throughout the shift
Perform other General Labor activities as required
Essential Skills
Experience with heavy lifting
Ability to push and pull 75 - 100 lbs frequently
Experience with grinders, manufacturing, heavy lifting, machine operation, metals, and construction
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction)
Ability to read a tape measure

Work Environment
This is a heavy industrial environment, characterized by heat from furnaces, loud noise, dust, dirt, and strong odors. The role requires working in a hot, heavy, loud, dusty, dirty, and smelly environment. Openings are available on 1st, swing, and graveyard shifts with the following hours: Days (7am - 3:30pm), Swing (3pm - 11:30pm), and Grave (11pm - 7:30am).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reno, Nevada.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.15/hr.
