Job Title: Low Voltage Installer

Job Description

We're looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician to assist with our project in Rensselaer, IN at the Iroquois Bio-Energy Co building. This project is expected to last one month or more, involving the installation of CAT 6 cabling, 22 cameras, cabinets for cameras, terminations, and wire pulling. Successful contractors may have the opportunity to continue on additional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Install CAT 6 cabling throughout the facility.

  • Install and set up 22 cameras.

  • Install cabinets for camera systems.

  • Perform terminations and ensure proper connections.

  • Pull wire and ensure all installations meet industry standards.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a Low Voltage Technician or similar role.

  • Proficiency in installing CAT 6 cabling and camera systems.

  • Ability to perform terminations and pull wire efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with conduit installation is a plus.

  • Knowledge of CAT 5 cabling.

  • Experience with structured cabling and low voltage systems.

  • Telecommunication and electrical installation experience.

Work Environment

Contractors will work 4 days a week with 10-hour shifts (Monday - Tuesday, off Wednesday, Thursday - Friday). The work environment is commercial/industrial, and the project involves installing advanced telecommunication and security systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Rensselaer, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
