Requisition Summary PACCAR Parts Division is seeking a PC/LAN Supervisor to join our dynamic IT Operations Team. In this role, you will lead a small team, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and strict adherence to IT policies. Your team will provide a high level of customer service, advanced support for critical IT equipment, escalating complex issues as needed. You will conduct regular audits, team meetings, and performance reviews to maintain high standards and foster professional growth. Additionally, you will oversee the IT ticketing system, manage inventory, and maintain effective communication with end-users. Documenting IT processes and developing knowledge base articles will also be key responsibilities, contributing to a customer-centric and efficient IT Operations team. Job Functions / Responsibilities Team leadership and management of the IT Operations team. Assign tasks and manage workloads to ensure timely resolution of IT issues. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and updates. Provide advanced support for diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to PCs, iPhones, and video conferencing equipment. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or external vendors when necessary. Ensure team adherence to IT policies and best practices. Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with security protocols and operational standards. Monitor and manage the IT ticketing system to ensure efficient handling and resolution of tickets. Generate and analyze reports on ticket throughput, response times, and resolution rates. Assist the IT Operations Manager in developing and implementing the IT Operations strategy. Mentor and train junior staff to enhance their technical skills and professional growth. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Manage inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. Maintain effective communication with end-users to understand their needs and provide timely updates on issue resolution. Foster a customer-centric approach within the team. Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, procedures, and issue resolutions. Develop and update knowledge base articles for common issues and solutions. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Minimum of three years of experience in PC hardware and software configuration, installation, and troubleshooting. Previous professional experience leading and mentoring a team. Experience with Executive level IT support. Knowledge of using Agile and Kanban for managing work tasks. Must possess these skill sets; excellent communication both written and verbal, customer service, analytical, strong organizational, ability to handle multiple shifting priorities, self-motivated, innovative, and always striving for excellence. Knowledge of wired and wireless networks, Microsoft Exchange, Exchange ActiveSync, Active Directory, and VPN technologies. Experience with planning, coordinating, and implementing projects in a desktop environment. Working knowledge of Power Shell and/or Visual Basic Scripting strongly preferred. Ability to work adjusted hours as needed to support remote locations.
