Deloitte Communications Specialist (TS/SCI with Polygraph Required) in Reston, Virginia

Work you'll do

  • Develop and apply strategic communications frameworks, including audience analysis, to effectively communicate at all levels

  • Oversee engagement plan direction as well as the production and distribution of messaging across all communication channels and platforms

  • Implement proactive and organized communications activities that support achieving client objectives while streamlining reactive communications processes

  • Implement communications strategy that cuts across various channels, including web, media, print, and community engagement

  • Ensure information communicated is accessible, actionable, accurate, relevant, timely, and understandable for intended audiences

  • Work collaboratively and diplomatically across multiple stakeholder groups and partners

  • A current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance is required to be considered

  • 4+ years' experience with the following: developing and executing engagement plans/strategies, comfortable balancing multiple client projects simultaneously, team player that can collaborate on cross-organization projects.

  • Experience with various writing styles: APA, MLA

  • Experience drafting executive level summaries, narrative writing, memos, and PowerPoint briefings

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


  • Prior experience supporting federal clients/stakeholders

  • Enterprise change management strategies

  • Prior experience working with IT clients and/or IT initiatives
