Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing in both Solidworks and AutoCAD. You will work closely with a team of technical engineers and inside sales representatives to create innovative designs and solutions.
Responsibilities
Design using Solidworks and AutoCAD.
Estimate and quote technical projects.
Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to understand customer manufacturing and production processes.
Work on various projects with a team of seven designers and engineers.
Essential Skills
1 year of experience designing in Solidworks.
1 year of engineering or technical experience understanding customer manufacturing and production processes.
Good work history with at least 3+ years at a company.

Work Environment
The working environment consists of a group of technical engineers and an inside sales team. The team is looking for someone with a strong technical design engineering background to bridge the gap between the groups. You will be working under the direction of the VP and collaborating closely with a team of seven designers and engineers. This position ideally suits someone from Rhinelander or someone looking to relocate to the community long-term.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
