Our Coppell client is seeking a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Specialist – Compensation or HRIS Experience for a 1 to 2 month remote engagement.

Seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our client as a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Specialist, focusing on the compensation area. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that compensation-related systems and processes meet the needs of end-users and stakeholders through rigorous testing and validation. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our compensation processes, ultimately supporting the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Test Plan Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for compensation-related systems and processes.

  2. Test Case Creation: Create detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring thorough coverage of all compensation scenarios.

  3. Execution and Documentation: Execute test cases according to established test plans, meticulously documenting test results, issues, and defects.

  4. Defect Management: Identify and report defects and anomalies, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution and retesting.

  5. UAT Coordination: Coordinate user acceptance testing activities, including scheduling, communication, and support for end-users and stakeholders.

  6. Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to validate fixes and changes, ensuring that compensation systems maintain integrity and functionality.

  7. Feedback and Improvement: Provide constructive feedback on compensation systems and processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

  8. Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to empower end-users with the skills and understanding needed to effectively utilize compensation systems.

  9. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that compensation systems comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.

• Strong systems skills with productivity tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, Callidus Cloud, and SAP.

• Proven experience in user acceptance testing or quality assurance, preferably in the compensation domain. HRIS experience is also acceptable.

• Strong understanding of compensation principles and practices, specifically including incentive programs, salary structures, and performance management.

• Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of the organization.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and compensation management software is a plus.
