Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have the education, training, and hands-on experience to work independently and efficiently. This position requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring top-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
· Perform repairs and maintenance, including engine work, brake systems, transmission, and other essential vehicle components.
· Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance.
· Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
· Provide accurate estimates for repairs and discuss them with customers or supervisors.
· Keep work area clean and organized.
· Follow safety protocols and company standards.
· Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive repair.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of various vehicle makes and models.
· ASE certifications is a plus.
· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
· Valid driver's license.
