Position Summary:
This position will have responsibility for providing Clinical Mental Health Services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic. Responsibilities will include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health treatment services to identified children, families, and adults. This position will allow for remote work one day per week.
Responsibilities:
Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment using Evidenced Based Practices to children families, and adults
Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes
Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.
Maintain encounters/productivity of 60% of reportable/billable services
Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to assure the services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements
Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings
Staff cases which require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required
Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary
Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients
Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision.
Non-Physical Requirements:
Education
Masters degree in Social Work preferred or Masters degree in other Behavioral Sciences required.
Experience
Two years of experience working with children, families adults in a professional outpatient setting
Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation or eligible
Special Skills

Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge
Possess good verbal and written communication skills and excellent documentation skills
