Responsible for providing processing and sales support for loan applications received from Wholesale Loan Brokers. Work with assigned Account Executives and Brokers to facilitate the management of the loan applications from submission to closing. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $70,000.00 to $85,000.00.
What you’ll do:
Main contact of communication and support between the Broker and the various departments and individuals of the company throughout the process of the loan, including but not limited to Account Executive(s), Underwriting, Quality Control, Docs and Funding.
Is responsible for excellent customer service.
Review and verify credit reports, flood certs and appraisals, as needed.
Ensure compliance deadlines are met with regards to pre-disclosures, approval letters, cancellation and declinations.
Monitor incoming documents from Broker verifying the data collected and submitted by brokers.
Obtain necessary stipulations from brokers and clears any stipulations prior to funding as required by underwriting.
Proactively monitor pipeline to ensure timely funding of loans.
Meet with Account Executives regarding their pipelines and update the Account Executive daily.
Communicate with the Broker at a minimum of every other day, update all necessary parties, and maintain up to date notes in loan origination transactional system.
Enters required data in computer system and maintain the accuracy of the data.
Inform the Broker and Account Executive about any discrepancies in the title, appraisals, credit, employment, income and other related items in the loan file.
Order Verifications of Employment and Deposit to assist with the prefunding QC process.
What you'll need:
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of wholesale loan production and mortgage loan processing
Familiarity with FHA & VA
Strong knowledge of RESPA regulations as it pertains to the GFE
Outstanding organizational and customer service skills
Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office,
Proficient with office machines such as computer, copiers, fax machine, etc.
Ability to work on several files simultaneously and coordinate various duties
Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology
Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on short-term basis (longer than one month)
Ability to maintain highly confidential information concerning loan applicants
Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
Ability to understand, remember, and communicate routine, factual information
Ability to communicate with individuals utilizing a telephone; requires ability to hear and speak effectively on the telephone
Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, audibly, and quickly
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and to record, balance, and check results for accuracy
Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters, and/or conduct routine oral communication
High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
College coursework or degree preferred.
Five (5) or more years of experience as a Wholesale Account Manager or Mortgage Loan Processor with multiple brokers, Account Executives, investors and loan products
