Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in the service industry, based in RICHMOND, Virginia. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for daily deposits, managing customer payment disputes, leading collection processes, and assisting in audits.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately post checks to customer accounts and balance deposits prior to submission
• Analyze and post ACH transactions to customer accounts
• Handle credit card transactions and settle batches once funds hit the bank
• Coordinate with the Operations team to manage customer payment disputes
• Lead the collections process, diligently following up with customers regarding past due balances and summarizing communication with management on collection efforts
• Follow up on open aged service tickets
• Assist in audits as required
• Assist with filing and organizing as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, Commercial Collections, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing procedures
• Knowledge of Cash Applications
• Experience in Cash Collections
• Skills in Commercial Collections
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Oracle software
• Familiarity with QuickBooks software
• Knowledge of SAP software
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Knowledge of relevant legal regulations
