Samsung SDS America Technical Sourcing Recruiter in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey

Samsung SDSA is looking for a technical sourcing recruiter to support our recruiting process from start to finish. Working alongside the rest of the IT Talent Acquisition team, you will play an integral role in growing our company.

Ideal candidate is a strategic, relationship-driven recruiter with a passion for sourcing top talent. You will apply your project management, analytical and data-centric skills to increase hiring efficiency, own all system processes, and provide a world-class candidate experience.

Partnering with a wide range of stakeholders here, you’ll make an impact across the company through the relationships you build both internally and externally.

This role gives an opportunity to work on a high variety of technical roles including but not limited to: network engineering, software engineering, software architecture, cloud engineering, etc.

This role is based in our regional headquarters in Ridgefield Park, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source and engage passive candidates using Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, networking events, and other creative sourcing methods.

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, from sourcing to offer acceptance, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop targeted sourcing strategies, and provide market insights.

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, interviewers, and other stakeholders, guiding them on best hiring practices.

  • Screen candidates effectively to assess technical and cultural fit.

  • Manage and refine the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.

  • Drive diversity recruiting initiatives to attract a diverse pool of candidates.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and emerging sourcing techniques.

  • Manage workflows within our applicant tracking system and update it with all notes and relevant information.

  • Communicate insights to stakeholders in a compelling manner to influence business decisions.

  • Independently lead multiple concurrent talent strategy projects.

  • Use metrics to create reports and identify areas of improvement.

  • Participate in Talent Acquisition initiatives including but not limited to: internship program, campus recruiting, career fair, and new hire onboarding.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, with a strong emphasis on sourcing passive candidates.

  • Proven work experience in technical recruiting/ technical talent acquisition in-house or agency is a must.

  • Including 2+ years of experience negotiating offers and closing candidates.

  • Hands-on experience with modern sourcing techniques (e.g. recruiting on social platforms, x-ray, sourcing tools etc.)

  • Ability to positively present our company and open roles to potential candidates.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, requisitions, assignments.

  • Strong experience partnering with hiring managers to drive recruiting strategies.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build long-term relationships with hiring teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Workable, Lever, or Workday) and recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to recruiting.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Technical proficiency with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for open roles.

  • Bachelor Degree.

  • Ability to commute to the office at least 3 times per week located in Ridgefield Park, NJ.

  • Ability to work in the US for any employer without restrictions.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with campus recruiting and internship programs is a plus.

  • Experience working in global IT company.

  • Experience with executive search.
