Job Title: Electrical Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified Electrical Technician with 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical work. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Reading blueprints

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues

  • Making repairs to manufacturing equipment

  • Documenting repairs and maintaining machine history logs

  • Working in extreme conditions (high temperatures, confined spaces, ladders, lifts, etc.)

  • Managing inventory methods and purchase orders using SAP & Requisitions

  • Working overtime and being on call when necessary

  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical experience

  • Basic machine shop education and/or experience

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and various mechanical systems

  • Possession of hand tools in safe working order (specialty tools will be provided)

  • Proficient computer knowledge, including familiarity with Computer Maintenance Manager System (CMMS) preferred

  • Electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematic expertise

Additional Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Performing precision mechanical and electrical calibrations and repairs to industrial machinery in a "Test Bench" environment

  • Troubleshooting and repairing instrumentation, controls, and electrical/electronic equipment in "Emergency Breakdown" situations and as directed through the "Work Order" system

  • Specifying, designing, and installing circuits and/or instrumentation to solve specific needs or problems

  • Operating independently with minimal supervision, handling shifts alone

  • Continuously improving skills through on-the-job and self-directed training

  • Diagnosing basic PLC and/or robotic communications, including uploading and downloading of programs

  • Utilizing experience, troubleshooting skills, and research abilities to manage breakdowns, failures, and calibrations

  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Preferred Education:

  • 2 years Community College degree, Technical Trade School certificate, Military Training, or equivalent formal education in electrical or electronics discipline

Experience Level:

  • Intermediate Level

Pay & Benefits:

  • The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

  • Shift: 2-2-3 Schedule - NIGHT SHIFT 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM
