Responsible for managing the overall functioning of the bar/crabhouse, ensuring maximum profitability. Establish and implement work procedures and priorities & recommend changes. Maintain cash controls, payroll records. Determine staffing needs. Supervise staff of 90 including hiring and training employees. Create weekly schedules. Monitor sales and inventory trends to forecast sales and maintain adequate stock levels. Estimate food and beverage costs and profits. Regularly review product quality and research new vendors. Order supplies. Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses. Create advertising campaigns to attract new customers and create both in and outside bar promotions to attract customers. Conduct market research; analyze demographics, economic trends, and competitors. Plan special events around local events, festivals, and holidays. Maintain licenses and certifications, protect the establishment’s reputation and operational continuity.
