Job Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for comprehensively developing and managing all components of the portfolio and program office (e.g. portfolio, book of work, processes, and execution of strategy through which all products, strategic initiatives are identified, prioritized, developed, completed, monitored to deliver results), which may include execution and management of critical cross-functional and strategic initiatives for leadership. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of strategic programs to ensure they are on track to deliver intended outcomes. Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met, championing a culture of fiscal accountability. Leads team development and performance for senior managers and their teams. Provide key thought leadership, accountability, and direction for strategic execution, while ensuring that relationships are developed and expanded on our current and future ways of operating, driving results and optimizing and improving long term impact. This role may also be responsible for building out and leading reporting that will provide clear, concise, comprehensive communication for data-based decisions and outcomes.

Creates a culture of effective risk management, accountability, and demonstration of risk awareness across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee program execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Drive large complex portfolio prioritization, planning, execution, actively managing risks and issues and communicating status in an objective manner to all stakeholders.

  • Meets with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

  • Engages in continuous improvement with team to realize increased value to the organization.

  • Hire, onboard and develop great talent to meet the objectives and strategy of the organization. Leads team development and performance for senior managers and their teams

Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration and management, or information technology

  • 8+ years of experience in agile, computer information systems, project management, portfolio and program management, or related

  • 4+ years of experience in IT portfolio and/or program management

  • 4+ years of people leadership experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business administration and management

  • 10+ years of IT Portfolio and/or program management

  • 5+ years of executive stakeholder management

  • 7+ years of people leadership experience

  • CPM, PfMP, CIPM, Agile certification or license.

In Lieu of education:

  • 10+ years of Agile, CIS, PMP experience minimum

  • 4+ years of IT Portfolio and/or program management minimum

  • 4+ years of people leadership experience minimum

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $150,500.00 to $228,900.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
