We are looking for an energetic Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations and activities. These activities include operating a sit down forklift, unloading containers, storing materials, picking, packing and shipping orders. General Responsibilities:
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, and optimize space utilization
Identify and report any damages, discrepancies, shortages or quality deficiencies
Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them accordingly
Wrap orders before loading on truck
Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment by operating a sit down forklift
Specific Duties:
Receiving
Receive incoming FedEx, UPS or any type of delivery
Prepare orders for FedEx, UPS, Amazon, website & customer pick-ups
Double check outgoing orders for accuracy
Ensure front end is always clean and organized
Ensure customer pickups are organize and in the proper area
Container
Assist with unloading containers
Count and put away containers’ contents
Check inventory and correct any errors
Double check bins for corrections
Making sure bins are cleared for new incoming containers
Organize bins, if possible, by product
Control and manage inventory
Orders
Pull orders as needed
Ensure everything is completed by end of day
Close and clean warehouse at the end of day
Work with team to ensure orders are completed
Serve as Gatekeeper to the warehouse
Requirements
High school degree or GED required
At least 18 years of age
Must have valid driver’s license or state issued ID
At least 1-year verifiable warehouse experience preferred
Stable work history
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to be on your feet for extended period
Diligent and punctual
Experience and Skills
Experience operating a sit down forklift
Team player with organizational skills
Able to read and write in English
