District Communication Manager - Graphics: D
UTIES: Design or create communications, including graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos for presentations and may use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic graphic presentations to stakeholders. Oversee communications, including the designing of all branding, graphics, and communications for the organization, including the district business plan, district and project-level newsletters, town hall meetings and presentations, and various other district events. Graphic designing to create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate internal and external stakeholders. Develop the overall layout and production design for applications such as reports and communications. Lead and manage project proposal bids by managing, editing and writing content for all submittal documents. Create and manage marketing and communications publications to include developing the branding, messaging and client communication processes and proposals. Acquire, organize, analyze, disseminate, and monitor information on markets, clients, competitors, specific projects, technology, and legislative developments to the Business Development team and management. Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature and other sources.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field, and 7 years of experience to involve (1) design or create communications, including graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos for presentations and may use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic graphic presentations to stakeholders; (2) ownership creation of branding to promote business to external customers as well as internal employees; (3) graphic designing to create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate internal and external stakeholders; (4) develop overall layout and production design for applications such as reports and communications; (5) preparing reports, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text for senior management. Additionally, 1 year of experience stated herein to involve: (a) branding and marketing involving taking complex technical specifications and translating into simple narrative concepts for internal and external stakeholders in understanding the municipal water business and its criticality; and (b) handling the communications and graphics branding phases during the acquisition, organization, and analysis of water markets and presenting results to senior management.
