Job Overview The Digital Marketing Specialist, a member of KAAL-TV's sales team, provides in-house expertise for digital marketing solutions for clients and contributes to the revenue generation and attainment of goals. The Digital Marketing Specialist participates in and executes the station's digital sales strategy, training, and AE coaching and has a high level of client interaction. Job Responsibilities Digital Marketing Sales and Knowledge Requirements: Engaged and active with sales activity including identifying target accounts, business categories, new business development, sales calls, client presentations, and translating campaign performance into client success stories. Works with all Account Executives on 1:1 product coaching, sales targets, client interactions and campaign strategies; aid in AEs reaching their digital revenue goals Maintains assigned accounts and prospects for new business for pop-ups, sponsorships, general campaigns; responsible for meeting revenue goals and procuring new business Explains complicated digital products and solutions to clients and the benefits of the proposals for the client s business. Understands the needs and goals of a client, determines the best digital marketing solutions, and builds proposals to answer those needs. In coordination with the Sales Manager, interacts with sales staff daily, setting team roles, goals, and managing workflow processes. Hosts regular meetings on active campaigns, and maintains oversight of all active campaigns (pacing, results, targeting, etc.). Consults with HBI AdOps and other HBI digital sales staff Provides in-house expertise for digital marketing solutions for clients, including programmatic display, video, social media, OTT/CTV, paid search (SEM), and search engine optimization (SEO) and other digital products Acts as sales resource for AEs on digital business; reviews key sales proposals in advance to ensure client goals are achieved in a manner consistent with station guidelines; serves as a resource for UI.Marketing assistance and expertise in system functions Coordinates digital traffic and reporting within Monday.com and UI.Marketing Sales Assistant: Assist in building packages and other sales materials with oversight and training Assigned business maintenance; order entry, traffic instructions, posting (if applicable) General Marketing and Creative Research and produce innovative ideas for community outreach in the form of sponsorships, packages, giveaways, etc. Participate in Special Projects meetings; share and build ideas for station initiatives; SecondStreet engagement (building and monitoring campaigns) Assist the with and create digital ads; work with Sales Commercial Producer on related creatives
