The Flex Member Service Representative position starts at $20.00 per hour!

Advantage Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Flex Member Service Representative. The Flex Member Service Representative supports all of our 7 locations and those in that role get the experience of learning about each branch. You will serve the financial needs of customers professionally, efficiently and confidentially. Actively promotes all AFCU products and services while exceeding defined sales goals.

Duties of the Member Service Representative:

Opens and accurately services customers with accounts, and general services.

Maintains expertise and accuracy in processing various aspects of loan products and services; from application to disbursement and post-closing servicing; such as understanding and assisting members with applications, repayment terms, credit reporting and related analyses, etc.

Accurately process routine transactions and loan applications in person, by phone and by mail.

Possess or obtain Notary commission within six months of employment.

Assists other areas of the branch to maintain service levels and the operations of the branch (i.e. acts as teller).

Understands and assists with general branch operations that include: Ability to open/close branch; Audit Assistance; and participation in other sales activities to generate business.

Identify cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to customers.

Maintains current knowledge of all credit union policies, products, procedures and related services, and advises members on those that best meet their needs.

Ability to work independently in the absence of management for short periods of time.

Assists other departments as needed.

Must be willing to travel to different branches based on the needs of the organization. Stipend for mileage available!

Position Requirements

Requirements of the Member Service Representative:

High School diploma or GED.

6 months + of similar or related experience.

Bilingual skills a plus!

Good listening and telephone skills

Customer Service a must.
