ARRT-M Advanced Mammography Certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work various software applications. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.RESPONSIBILITIESMammography. Perform and/or assists diagnostic, screening, ultrasound and interventional mammography procedures; perform daily and periodic Mammography Quality Assurance (QA) activities under the direct supervision of the mammography QA Technologist; monitor image quality on a continuous basis to ensure that all quality standards are metGeneral Maintenance. Monitor equipment for proper performance and functionality; clean, restock and prepare examination rooms on a daily basisDocumentation. Complete all necessary documentation in the radiological information system (RIS) and/or patient chartsMinimum Qualifications Two year college degree in Radiologic Technologist in Applied Science or equivalent.Required Licensure/Certification Skills: NYS license in Radiologic Technology OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment.
