Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description
Assists Client Project Managers in managing office administration and field operations for Project Management Integration. Expertise in data analysis and involvement in work management, quality, and project safety requirements. The role includes cost, schedule, and procurement activities. Field the person in energy, construction management, and project management with a focus on safety procedures and cost control.
Responsibilities
Manage a construction project, including creating schedules, managing budgets, and preparing progress reports.
Ensure cost control and manage change orders.
Oversee quality of work and enforce safety requirements.
Procure necessary resources for the project and manage the schedule to complete work on time, safely, and within budget.
Act as the project owner, coordinating with contractors on site and traveling to job sites as needed.
Essential Skills
2-5 years of construction management experience, specifically in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, or hydro.
Data analysis expertise.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional Certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the energy sector, particularly in substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro, and OSG.
Work Environment
This is a remote, work-from-home role focused on renewable energy construction projects in New York State. The project manager will represent a network of 8 utilities in the northeast region and may have occasional travel to job sites.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.71 - $52.88/hr.
