Position Overview

Greenlight Networks is seeking a transformational technology leader to drive and oversee the IT infrastructure and software technologies to streamline business operations and innovate as we continue to aggressively grow. The Vice President – Technology Solutions plays a critical role in shaping the company's vision, ensuring technology alignment with business goals, and implementing effective solutions to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness. Greenlight desires a dynamic executive with a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, leadership skills, and effective communication abilities to support the growth and market opportunities facing the Company.

Core Responsibilities

Technology Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a clear strategy, on a regular basis, aligned with overall business objectives

  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to keep the organization at the forefront of technological innovation

  • Collaborate with executive leadership team, ensuring technology initiatives support and enhance the company's overall strategy

Technology Infrastructure Management, Product Development, and Data Management:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they meet quality standards, are scalable, and aligned with business needs

  • Deep collaboration with vCISO to:

  • develop and implement robust information security policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's data and systems

  • Stay abreast of cybersecurity threats and ensure the organization is prepared to mitigate and respond to security incidents

  • Proactively work with key external vendors regarding their security operations, ensuring compliance with Greenlight standards of excellence

  • Collaborate with product teams to align technology development with product roadmaps

  • Establish and enforce data management policies supporting the Company’s KPIs; ensuring the integrity and availability of organizational data on a timely basis

Administrative and Team Leadership:

  • Implement an efficient IT governance framework, ensuring development initiatives align with Company priorities; establish comprehensive process for engaging all departments on development needs and requests. Organize evaluation and prioritization thereof as well as communication cadence with executive team with regards to requests.

  • Develop and manage IT expense and technology capital forecasts, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet strategic objectives

  • Oversee the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget parameters

  • Implement project management best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

  • Actively collaborate and seek other executive input on technology needs and priorities

  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, and assess their relevance to the organization as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to technology and data management

  • Lead and manage a dedicated technology team as well as outsourced IT help desk vendor

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the technology department

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The annual pay range for this position is $165k - $195k. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience setting vision and strategy, but willing and able to pivot and be involved in details of the business when necessary

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; also, able to pivot based on needs of the business

  • Highest ethical and professional conduct

  • High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word

  • Proven vendor contract negotiation experience leading to valuable and economically beneficial relationships

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of an organization and externally

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Masters degree preferred

  • Telecommunications background preferred

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, with a track record of successful technology strategy development and implementation

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional teams

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices

  • Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards
