Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Rockaway, New Jersey. This role falls within the telecom industry and will be based in our office. The main duties of this role include processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain accurate customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to ensure accuracy
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Meet deadlines and multitask as required
• Utilize MS Office skills in managing and updating records
• Utilize 10 Key touch for data entry and invoice processing tasks
• Perform account reconciliation tasks as needed
• Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks
This job requires skills such as Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Expertise handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven skills in Data Entry

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• A degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
