Dixon Automatic Tool, Inc. is a family-owned business founded in 1946.
We design and build automated assembly machinery with a focus on
automated screwdriving. These are complex sales of engineered machines,
designed around proven standard Dixon mechanisms, and constructed and
tooled to assemble the customers parts to a defined specification.
Our company is growing, and we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for
a Full-Time position.
Dixon Automatic Tool, Inc. has a long history of designing and building
equipment, stations, robotic end-effectors, and machinery for the
automated assembly of products, focusing on processes such as part
pressing, placing, screwdriving, and fastening applications. Markets
served are electrical, electronic, automotive, construction products,
medical, and the appliance industries.

Responsibilities:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the Direct Sales in a
territory of multiple States, and possible regions of export countries
in North America with sales of automated assembly machinery and
products. Supports the sales work and customer applications of the
Independent Sales Reps in the territory. Frequent travel is required,
along with Teleconferencing.
Must be technically competent to sell engineered-to-order machinery and
mechanisms for small parts assembly. Must be motivated to serve our
customers & company with integrity, a team mentality, a strong work
ethic, and personal organizational skills. Must be accomplished in
listening and communication skills, understanding and documenting
customer needs, and in developing \'best approach\' solutions for our
customers\' needs.
Required is a technical understanding of mechanisms, robotics, controls,
current manufacturing and assembly processes, and three to six years
sales experience of automation machinery.
