We are in search of a Loan and Lease Accounting Specialist to join our Loan and Lease Accounting department in Rocklin, California. This full-time position reports to the Vice President - Loan and Lease Accounting and is responsible for performing accounting functions necessary to ensure timely and accurate loan and lease accounting.
Compensation Information
The base salary for this position is $39,000 - $65,000, depending on experience. Position is eligible for an annual incentive program in addition to the base compensation.
Job Requirements
Perform a variety of loan and lease accounting functions including processing payments, disbursing funds, booking new accounts and processing account maintenance requests.
Adhere to AgWest internal controls, procedures and policies.
Establish and maintain good internal customer relations by providing ongoing communication, coordination and assistance to branch staff.
Represent the organization via on-line banking help desk, communication with title companies and customer callbacks regarding certain account transactions.
May review branch or other accounting staff transactions for accuracy, within the scope of responsibility.
Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Typically requires one to three years' of related experience
Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
Ability to read, write and present general business information
Basic decision-making, collaboration, team building, problem solving, analytical, organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
Ability to recognize potential problems and exercise good judgement
Possess solid computer skills including MS Office Suite and accounting software
Preferred Requirements
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
General understanding of credit related laws and regulations
Knowledge of AgWest policies and procedures
