Job Details:
This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in
coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring
the Supervisor\'s instructions are communicated to the team members and
carried out timely and correctly.
This position will also monitor all equipment to insure it is working
properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while
maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and
procedures.
Assist Supervisor in running Department. Assist in all job duties,
setting up department and oversee all box room duties. Daily inventory &
pulling samples of labels being ran by production. Receiving, logging
and delivery of all supplies. Must communicate with outside vendors on a
daily basis either by phone or in person. This position requires using a
forklift, hand jack and double reach to pull product and or when
receiving product. Regularly lifting 50 to 70 pounds at a time. Must
take accurate physical inventory.
Starting pay rate: \$18.70/hr
Requirements:
- Required to drive forklift, hand jack and double reach. Jack driver
test is required, if failed TM will be removed from job position and
will be move to a class 1 position
- Must complete an on-line job application in Workday
- Excellent communication skills and must be able to follow
instructions given by Supervisor.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
- Any team member who accumulates 8 or more attendance points, who
holds a class 2 or above position, will be demoted to any available
class 1 position in the plant.
