Actalent Civil Project Engineer in Roseville, California

Join Our Team as a Civil Project Engineer!

What You'll Do:

As a Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our civil engineering efforts for a variety of public and private site development projects. Your role will include:

  • Innovative Design: Prepare site feasibility studies, layout designs, grading plans, drainage plans, storm water quality designs, sustainable designs, utility improvements, roadway infrastructure designs, and ADA code compliance assessments.

  • Leadership: Manage projects from start to finish, serving as the primary interface with clients and project team members.

  • Team Guidance: Supervise, guide, and direct project engineers and drafters to ensure top-notch technical content and quality control.

  • Strategic Planning: Establish project fees, manage budgets, and schedule commitments in coordination with the Principal-In-Charge.

  • Project Tracking: Monitor project costs and deliverables to ensure successful fulfillment of contracts and project commitments.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 5 years in land development, site planning, storm drainage, water quality design, hydrology, grading, utility, roadways, parking facilities, and exposure to various site development projects.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build meaningful connections with coworkers, team members, and clients.

  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to juggle multiple active projects and people concurrently.

  • Education: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Licensing: P.E. license in California preferred, or EIT.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with codes, regulations, and standards for major site development projects in California. Proficiency in civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Hydrology and Hydraulic, WaterCAD, etc.).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $56.00/hr.
