Job Details The Coordinator will be responsible for Coordination of monthly Department of Surgery Performance Improvement meetings, including case referrals, minute preparation and necessary follow-up. Renders administrative assistance to the Director of Surgery, and the Director of Advanced Practice Providers. Tracks & updates all practitioner expirations and maintains departmental database. Will provide administrative support and coordinate various tasks within the department. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medical receptionist role, with knowledge of Epic software. Responsibilities: Greet and assist visitors, patients, and clients in a professional and friendly manner Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records or other relevant documentation Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations Assist with billing and insurance claims processing as needed Handle confidential information with discretion and adhere to HIPAA regulations Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence Qualifications: Previous experience as a medical receptionist, or similar role is preferred Proficiency in using Microsoft Office; Excel knowledge strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Knowledge of medical scheduling procedures and terminology Familiarity with medical records management systems Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others Salary Range USD $23.00 - USD $32.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
