Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.)to enhance the child's ability to learn
• Observe each child's development and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons in line with curriculum
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
• Guide children's activities throughout the day using a positive approach and providing support where needed
• Communicate with parents regularly in order to achieve a good relationship
• Follow all child care policies and procedures without regard to religion, race, color, national origin, age, sex or disability
