The Manufacturing Technician I is responsible for executing processes in production at Takeda's manufacturing facility in Round Lake, Illinois, while strictly adhering to cGMP, environmental health and safety guidelines and any other related regulations that . The incumbent will fully participate in both departmental projects and any quality working teams which may be applicable. Responsibilities include hands-on execution of all activities in the production area. Work is done under the general direction of the Lead technician and the overall direction of the Supervisor.
salary: $21 - $22.68 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
Work multiple shifts, including weekends and holidays, as necessary to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation as needed
Must be willing and able to work 12 hour shifts according to rotating 2-2-3 yearly shift calendar; day shift 5am -5:30 pm and night shift 5:00pm to 5:30am
Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow detailed written and oral instructions in English
Must have basic written and oral communication skills and ability to learn and comply with current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP) regulations
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
A self-starter with a positive attitude and good time management skills
Ability to remain professional at all times
Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shift
Follow the company's safety and quality requirements
Overtime will be required at times
Personal protective equipment must be worn due to safety, cGMP and FDA requirements
Knowledge of basic chemical and biological safety procedures
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 30 lbs.

standing for 12 hours at one time
working up to 12 hrs of overtime per week
