Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sentinel - Manager Engineering 3. This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program .

What You'll Get To Do:

The Sentinel - Manager Engineering 3 (STT Thread Lead - Full Function Test) will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the Full Functional Test (FFT) Test Campaign . T he successful candidate will lead the execution of the FFT test campaign, focusing primarily on test execution within the System Test IPT but across all Segment/IPT Sentinel Test teams . The candidate will lead a diverse Test Engineering team responsible for the System Level test planning and execution.

The position requires technical knowledge of test event and test campaign planning as well as test environments and verification and validation activities . The candidate must act with speed to overcome obstacles and resolve issues, be able direct multiple concurrent operations while maintaining stringent test rigor . Additionally, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate sound metrics management and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions to IPT and program leadership .

A successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and cross-functional management experience is highly desired.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Job Qualifications:

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree with 8 years of relevant experience; 6 years with a Master's;

  • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification

  • Previous experience working in Integration and Test Environments

  • E xperience in team management, task scheduling and team building

  • Minimum of 3 years in formal lead/management position

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification

  • Extensive experience in System Integration Lab (SIL) system hardware/software, test planning and procedure development

  • Extensive experience in SIL test execution, data collection, and reporting

  • Prior experience with Instrumentation, data acquisition and test automation systems

  • Prior experience with Model Based System Engineering

  • Prior experience leading large cross-functional teams

  • Prior Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)

  • Agile experience

Salary Range: $141,900 - $212,900

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
