Are you passionate about electrical and electronic design solutions? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-disciplined office environment? Join our Sustaining Engineering Team as a key member, supporting established products and contributing to new product introductions.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize engineering best practices and regulatory standards for supporting, maintaining, and redesigning existing products.

  • Employ stage-gated processes, verification, and validation for product improvements.

  • Produce comprehensive engineering change specs in the company database, defining change details for Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

  • Implement necessary changes on electronics-related engineering tasks, including cable form CAD, schematic capture, and layout of circuit designs to maintain production designs.

  • Assess electronics-related parts and assemblies for compliance with directives such as RoHS and other regulations.

  • Identify fit/form/function equivalents for obsolete electrical and electronics-related parts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.

  • Proficiency in Pro-Engineer/PADS CAD systems and data management tools.

  • Experience with engineering change management and familiarity with stage-gated processes.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards, particularly RoHS and related directives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating interaction across diverse departments.

  • Ability to collaborate on production line issues to ensure business deliverables and deadlines are met.
