Your role and responsibilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a full-time pricing clerk to support our clinical services at Northwest Veterinary Specialists.

We are looking for an experienced candidate with excellent administration, interpersonal and organisational skills. You must be computer literate and have experience working in a veterinary practice/hospital. The role will require working closely with a variety of professionals within the hospital.

You will be expected to ensure revenue is captured accurately and timely through inputting costings and performing administrative duties such as scanning and photocopying.

You will be:

  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing at all levels and with a variety of different team members

  • Able to prioritise work to meet deadlines

  • Able to build strong relationships and foster teamwork

  • Experienced in administration

  • Experiences within a veterinary practice (or hospital)

  • Knowledgeable of veterinary terminology

  • Able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible with a flexible approach to work.

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40hrs/week.

About us

We are a true multidisciplinary referral only hospital with departments in orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, neurology, internal medicine, oncology, anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging. Each of the clinical disciplines is staffed to European Diplomate or RCVS Specialist standards.

The hospital is well equipped and provides excellent inpatient facilities with qualified Registered Veterinary Nurses and veterinary interns on-site 24/7. Imaging includes computed radiography, fluoroscopy (with digital subtraction and road mapping), ultrasonography and on-site MRI and CT.
