Through our REIT and Opportunistic Fund investment platforms, we are focused primarily on the acquisition, ownership, redevelopment and management of retail properties, including neighborhood and community shopping centers, urban high-barrier-to-entry street retail, and mixed-use properties with retail components.Acadia is currently seeking a property accountant who has strong growth potential. This position will be responsible for various accounting/reporting functions for properties and entities as part of Acadia’s core portfolio and opportunity fund platforms in accordance with GAAP policies. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: All aspects of the quarterly and annual accounting close and financial reporting cycles - including balance sheet and income statement preparation for assigned portfolio of propertiesPreparation of monthly and quarterly reports to joint venture partners and lendersPreparation of work papers to be used in conjunction with auditsPreparation of footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC filings Input and analyze budgets for assigned portfolio of propertiesParticipate in due diligence and integration of property acquisitionsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance1- 3 years of work experience Strong analytical skillsAbility to prioritize challenging work scheduleProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelCPA track a plusCommercial real estate experience is preferredThe base salary compensation range for this role reflects the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to, skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each individual. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000.
