Sutter Health Physical Security Specialist in Sacramento, California

Position Overview:

Works within an established framework to protect Sutter Health's people, property, assets and interests. Responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of programs or projects that impact multiple stakeholders, systems, or workflows with moderate to high risk and complexity. Responsible for identifying, defining, and documenting physical security risks, training deficiencies, and opportunities relative to physical security best practices and regulatory requirements related to the healthcare industry. Compiles data, writes routine reports, and conducts training designed to ensure compliance and improve enterprise-wide security posture. Coordinates and maintains physical security practices designed to safeguard personnel and prevent unauthorized access to acute and non-acute care facilities.

Job Description :

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

  • Bachelor's: healthcare, business, or related field

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated success working in a highly regulated work environment.

  • Ability to accurately analyze situations in a highly complex organizational structure and reach appropriate decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop programs, processes, and procedures in collaboration with multiple cross-functional work groups and tailor approaches to highly diverse organizational structures and situations.

  • Interpersonal and collaboration skills.

  • Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities and respond to changing demands from multiple sources in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to follow through, meet deadlines, anticipate requirements, and build relationships with minimal oversight.

  • Analytical, problem-solving skills, and decision-making skills.

Pay Range is $44.28 to $66.42 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
