2024! What will I do as a Billing and AP Specialist? This position will
be responsible for billing collection processes for all programs as well
as the account payable process. Maintain required billing records and
patient insurance information according to Medicaid, Medicare,
Commercial Insurance guidelines, HIPAA, and other department guidelines.
Ensuring all electronic and paper claim submissions processed
efficiently through payer systems, following up and rebilling claims as
necessary Contact insurance companies regarding client insurance
coverage, insurance verification and eligibility, medical billing codes,
and payment/nonpayment status Follow-up clients and private payers
regarding owed co-pays or fees as outlined by the Sliding Fee Program
regarding payment/non-payment status. Manage the Accounts Payable
