together, we can change that! As a Reading Tutor, your crucial role will
impact the lives of many children, offering vital assistance to those
who need extra help reading at their grade level. Immerse yourself in a
local school and support kindergarten through third grade students with
one-on-one or paired guidance to enrich their reading skills. With
training and on-site coaching, you\'ll be equipped to help children
thrive. Your commitment during school hours throughout the academic year

caring adult who\'s focused on helping students build their skills and
confidence. Track student progress and regularly meet with the school\'s
on-site coach. Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into

school events and share your experience with the community to raise

people and trains them to be great tutors. Anyone can become a tutor as
long as they have a passion to make a difference - and meet the
following minimum qualifications. By the time they begin their service,
our tutors are: Dependable and have a history of good attendance. Able
to understand and follow instructions. Open to making improvements based
on feedback. Capable of setting a pace and maintaining a schedule with
students. Competent with basic computer skills (like email and
navigating online). Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and
writing. 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or
equivalent. A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the
United States.* Able to successfully complete a background check.
