Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Business Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, financial analysis, and regulatory reporting. The role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.

Duties

  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to identify trends, errors, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring that all transactions are properly recorded and accounted for.
  • Oversee accounts payable and ensure timely payment to vendors.
  • Coordinate and manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain accounting software, such as Microsoft Dynamics, to streamline financial operations.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports, including tax returns and financial statements, to relevant authorities.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address financial risks and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and financial standards.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial reporting and analysis.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in financial concepts, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ability to prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Experience with accounts payable and payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with accounting software, including Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,726.26 - $108,057.42 per year
