The ideal candidate is a dedicated and highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic team environment.
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits (such as accident, hospital indemnity, and critical illness), short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage. Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account. Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism. Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing. All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred
Current Series 7 and 66 (or combination of both Series 63 and 65) licenses required to apply
Insurance License required or attainable within four months of hire
AAMS certification attained within 12 months of start date or working toward other designations including CFP, ChFP, etc.
3+ years of securities industry experience as a Financial Advisor or a position supporting FA's requiring extensive product, service, market and general investing knowledge. Experience as an Edward Jones Financial Advisor highly preferred
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Well developed and practiced group presentation skills
Ability to listen, understand and give advice
Completion of Edward Jones New FA training highly desirable
