Position Title: Herbalist

Reports To: Directly to the Operations Manager

Compensation and Time Commitment: 32-40 hours per week

Overall Job Description

The Herbalist reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day activities of product assembly, order filling, labeling and shipping activities.

Major Responsibilities and Duties

• Product Assembly (50%)
  • Responsible for reading the assigned orders in Katana daily, identifying the ingredients and recipe, making the product, inserting product data into Katana and completing each order in a timely fashion using the Shopfloor app. Responsible for storing all product orders or preparing orders for shipment. Responsible for communicating all inventory needs or shortages to the herbalist team lead. Responsible for filling all assigned orders prior to the end of shift and verifying accuracy daily with the herbalist lead.
• Labeling and Shipping (25%)
  • Responsible for providing accurate information to customers via labels placed on products and to the shipped to the address provided. Responsible for accurate placing of labels on the correct products and verifying shipping details. Responsible for communicating all materials and equipment needed to the herbalist lead.
• Cleanliness (25%)
  • Responsible for conducting a regular cleaning regime at the assigned station, labeling station, shipping station and sink area. Responsible for returning all equipment and materials used during the shift to its clean prior to the end of the shift.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 1-3 years experience in a related position, including previous experience in customer service and retail.

Solid understanding of the herbal industry and its community.

Obtain required herbal industry certifications within 90 Days of employment and position professional development training within 1 year of
