Location: St Louis MO,USA

Job Description: Responsible for overseeing project management, developing training and testing plans, establishing metrics, coordinating activities, and managing the AMS team for our application services. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:

o Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion.

o Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.

o Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed.

o Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  1. Training Plan Development:

o Identify training needs for team members and stakeholders.

o Develop comprehensive training plans and materials.

o Coordinate and conduct training sessions.

o Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements.

  1. Testing Plan Development:

o Create detailed testing plans and strategies.

o Coordinate testing activities with the QA team.

o Ensure all application features are thoroughly tested before release.

o Track and report on testing progress and results.

  1. Metrics and Reporting:

o Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for project success.

o Collect and analyze data to measure project performance.

o Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders.

o Use metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

  1. Coordination and Communication:

o Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients.

o Schedule and lead project meetings.

o Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and accessible.

o Resolve conflicts and issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

  1. AMS Team Management:

o Manage and mentor the AMS team.

o Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.

o Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.

o Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Along with base compensation, this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
