Securian Financial Group Inc. Business Continuity Analyst in Saint Paul, Minnesota

As a Business Continuity Analystfor Securian Financial, you will use your knowledge, skills and experience within the Business Continuity domain to meet our solution groups needs and ensure that we will be there for the people that count on us, no matter what. You will play a key role in developing and refining business continuity strategies and processes at Securian Financial so that the organization remains resilient, fulfills our purpose and helps our customers build secure tomorrows. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Build and maintainBusiness Continuitystrategies to reduce risk and close gaps identified through risk assessment, business impact analysis, and exercising. Assess the resiliency of Securian Financial in response to various types of incidents and identify and implement mitigation strategies. Develop, coordinate and deliver exercises to business partners and leaders across the Company to identify gaps and validate plans. Conduct businessimpact analysis interviewswith key business areas to document changes in process dependencies and recovery requirements. Coordinate recovery requirementswith Enterprise Technology partners and associated disaster recovery plans. Develop straightforward, actionablebusiness continuity plans for key processes across the Company. Manage recovery during an incident and assist with incident response activitiesthroughout the duration of the incident. Represent BCM with information requests from prospective customers and internal and external assessments to ensure compliance of the business continuity program. Interact with senior leaders and associates from across the Company. Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to interact with all levels of leadership. Proven project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize concurrent tasks. Strong critical thinking skills to ensure response and recovery strategies are effective, efficientand provide value. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, multi-task, and prioritize deadlines. Experience working within the Business Continuity and Incident Management domains preferred. Experience with Business Impact Analysis(BIA) preferred. Experience with business continuity and mass notification software preferred. CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) certification preferred.
